Inauguration Day and the Day After: Scott Lucas on British Radio

A flurry of chats with radio stations this morning, picking up on both the excitement and American pride of the inauguration of the 44th President, Barack Hussein Obama, and on the challenges that he faces from The Day After the Big Party:

1. A long interview with Chris Mills of Kerrang! Radio on both the departing President ("Don't let the door hit your butt on the way out") and on the incoming President ("The speed of politics means it will be a short honeymoon").

2. An interview with Darryl Murphy of BRMB Radio on the symbolism of Obama's inauguration --- it's on-line.

3. Talked this morning to LBC Radio's Nick Ferrari, as he covers Inauguration Day from Washington.

4. And then finished off, for the moment, with an interview on Smooth Radio.
