Mickey Mouse (Election) Roll Call: Sound Off Now!

We're just shutting down at our home base and making the move to Election Night Headquarters: the Canuckistan Party in the heart of King's Heath, Birmingham, United Kingdom.

True story: We turned down invites to the US Embassy Party in London and the US Embassy Party in Dublin (held at the Guinness Brewery) tonight in favour of the Canuckistan extravaganza.

So while we're making our move, drop us a comment and let us know where you're from, what you're thinking/fearing/expecting, and what number you would put in for our Electoral College Pool.

I'll see you there... Goooooooobama.

My bet is in on the sweepstakes and it's looking decidedly dodgy

Just down the road from the Canuckistan gathering in Moseley, Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Thinking: This election is ruining my Heroes viewing schedule.
Fearing: A McCain victory. President Palin? *shudder*
Expecting: Less change than promised. "If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal." - Emma Goldman

No idea what numbers are still going in the pool, but I do know that the radio today has largely been a festival of people warning that the Polls are always inaccurate, that new voters may not turn up (albeit that they have been talking about HUGE queues in the meantime) and that Obama supporters had better not get complacent. So nothing new there.

No TV here, so it's down to the wonders of the intarweb for moving picture coverage. The BBC studio graphic introduction seems pretty flashy. It's not quite up to Fox's militainment standards (no rotating 3D views of the candidates heads), but not bad at all: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/us_elections_2008/7705795.stm

Will be watching the Democracy Now! coverage from around midnight. http://www.democracynow.org/
