Iran Cartoon of the Day: 1953 Speaks to 2010

Nikohang Kowsar's cartoon, published in Rooz Online, links the 19 August 1953 coup that overthrew the Government of Mohammad Mossadegh to today's events in Iran: "Mosadegh to Mir Hossein Mousavi: Don't Let the Coup Gang Knock You Down"

Mousavi and Mosadegh have nothing in common. It's a disgrace to the most effective iranian leader, Mosadegh to have him appear equal to Mousavi who has proven to be an utterly ineffective leader.
