During Thursday’s meeting of the most developed economies in London, President Obama bowed before King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. While some, on blogs and radio discussions, were making fun of the President by suggesting that he was about to clean the floor, others added that it was unacceptable for Americans who are proud of their revolutionary past to see their President bowing down in front of a dictator.

Might President Obama have kissed King Abdullah’s hands? Why not? The only visual source, unfortunately, does not give a clear point of view. However, one thing we do know is that a younger Muslim always shows utmost respect to an older Muslim in public and is expected to kiss the latter’s hands. Hmm, we should think more about it…

I don't know what scares me more, the fact that this patronizing, apologetic, pathetic excuse for a man was able to fool 53 % of the population with his propaganda machine, or that there are a ton of folks out there that wil give him their seat on the lifeboat - You can bet when the ship goes down, YOU will be the one to ride it to the bottom...
With what i saw in the video,I love Obama but he should not have bowed down to any president or King or whatever upon the surface of the earth.Come on, US president? No way.
There is no small or Great King,King is King. I have seen him on many occasion parting people on the back,not bowing down.I still prefer what Michelle did to the Queen to Obama bowing down.Too much excitement. We deserve an apology from his office. Period.
How about if they both bowed to each other? That would be the ultimate sign of respect regardless of who has more money, atomic bombs, destroyers or whatever. Where does the sense that we are the chosen society come from? We are all one. An apology from the office for showing respect? C'mon! Whatever that society calls for (bowing, kissing, shaking hands or even passing gas) as protocol, ANY United States President should follow that protocal and should expect the same in return from ANY world leader.

Obama bowed and it is as simple as the evidence. You also do not see it on regular media. Why is it wrong. Protocol is in order and it is proof that he was catering to the Muslim world over his own country and that his heart betrayed him in his actions as it did with England and France which were AGAIN actions of him to appeal to the Muslim world. No one talks about his acknowledgment that he gave his cousin over a MILLION dollars to support his attempt to become ruler in his hometown in Kenya, who is a practicing Muslim and believes in Shira law. What is wrong with this country when the truth is hid and even when it is revealed is it trivialized or excused when it has to do with Obama... The public might be fooled and the politicians quiet but I have feeling that the politicians are wondering... what in the world did we do?

Obama did NOT bow to the Queen of England, and yet he bowed and kissed the hand of the Saudi King? It is sooo obvious that he kissed his hand because he bowed so low. There is a phrase that rings true here. "Those who do not know their history are doomed to repeat it" Unfortunately for us the history we are doomed to repeat has all to do with Neville Chamberlain and nothing to do with the United States. APPEASE, APPEASE, APPEASE. The president of the greatest country on earth is bowing to the Saudi King. To what end? Does he think his antics will bring down the price of oil or is it really a sign of respect given to a Muslim from a Muslim? We still don't have an answer on the question of our president's religion. Add this to the fact that our answer to North Korea's launch is that we'll go to the UN and discuss the launch leads me to believe that history is indeed repeating itself. While we sit in the UN discussing what North Korea did, they are laughing all the way to the missle site, getting ready to try it again. Practice makes perfect. Sooner or later we'll have to face the fact that North Korea has delivery capability to the U.S. What will we do then? Oh yeah, we'll go to the UN and discuss the problem, right after we bow a few more time to some other world leader.
The President of the United State is the world leader and he bows to no other country leader muslim or non-muslim PEROID. What that incident showed, was a timid man that has no idea what the authority and power the office of the President of the United State commands. I am not saying he should be arrogant, but bold and sure of him self. What will he do when he meets the Shar of Iran, kneel down and kiss his feet? Come on Obama, you are the freaking Leader of the world act like it!
Out of curiosity, why would it matter if Obama were a Muslim? Don't you guys come from a great melting pot of a country, where freedom of worship is guaranteed to you? And isn't everyone supposed to be an equal, regardless of race, religion or creed?
How can you all so contentedly profess to believe one thing while obviously holding completely opposite values? In my opinion a lot of Americans, but by no means all, are a bunch of hypocritical, prejudiced and backward people who manage to claim to believe one thing while doing exactly the opposite. Orwell anyone? Then there's the serious superiority complex, which is maybe the most worrying trait of the American psyche. You are no better or worse than any other human beings, and yet you value yourselves so highly.
If the 9/11 thing is why you're desperate for the man not to be Muslim (he's not, by the way), then why aren't you all scaremongering about his supposed Christian beliefs, given that a tiny minority of Christian extremists espouse violent, terrorist beliefs and have burned and bombed countless innocent people? The vast majority of Muslims are peace-loving people, as are Christians. A small minority gets a load of press and you group an entire bunch of people, despite supposedly believing in equality of the individual.
The people of the United States are singly the most worrying group of people on this planet.
If he did bow it was a mistake on his part but from what I saw you couldn't really tell what was going on. There was a guy there blocking the view of the camera.

It matters that Obama is a Muslim, because his sympathies do not lie with America, but with MUSLIM COUNTRIES. And so, naturally, the conspiracy hounds continue to find fodder for their claim that Obama is not a natural-born citizen.
America IS a Christian nation. It is NOT a secular nation. It is fast becoming a secular nation because not enough people are willing to stand against the tide of immorality that is sweeping our nation.

Read the Declaration of Independence. In that you will find very strong language against the King of England, and our refusal to bow down to his demands. Bowing down to a king is a symbolic gesture that we respect ALL of his actions. Western culture adheres to a different standard of respect, which places ALL MEN AS EQUALS. Americans don't AND WON'T allow any king to rule over us. We rejected that in the Revolutionary War. Do you think we will return to that time????
