While the article leads with the hope of "the bad boyfriend factor" --- if your last boyfriend, let's say a Mr G W Bush, was horrible, then your next one is going to seem wonderful for a while --- it also offers the more cautious remarks of Enduring America's Scott Lucas as "a salutary study in realism".
